This assignment as a museum review is a great way I believe to really make us students think. Making us review and seeing how the history we may be interested in is being shown. It first makes you think and creates opinions on how the representation and demonstration of physical history is talked about. First making us think about whether the field of history we are interested in is right for us or thinking about how we may disagree and have differing opinions on how the museum should be set up.

I was personally really bothered by the Holocaust Museum only talking about Antisemitism and the Jewish view of the holocaust. It did not mention any of the other victims of the holocaust let alone the disabled who the process of mass killings and gas chambers were first used on and perfected to be used on the Jewish people of Europe. I believe it to be truly wrong to talk about the holocaust and not talk about the horrifying process of the Nazis perfecting the way to mass kill by first doing it to the disabled including disabled children.

The thing that I do find most important for my future is it made sure to include archival work done in the museum. That history, especially so horrible, must be preserved, which is something I truly agree with completely. I wish to go into the archival field because I agree with every fiber of my being that the artifacts of the holocaust must be preserved. History, no matter how dark and disturbing should never be erased and that is why I wish to go into the archival field and this reminds me why I want to do it.
